Jessica Leach is an associate with Arthur W. Leach’s Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Leach focuses her practice in the areas of complex civil litigation and products liability defense. Ms. Leach represents companies in product liability litigation and mass tort actions.  Jessica also works as part of the Law Office of Arthur W. Leach’s product liability defense team and one of the most experienced practices focusing on dietary supplements in the United States.

Ms. Leach represents health care institutions, dietary supplement companies, and pharmaceutical corporations in a variety of matters, including breach of contract, licensing disputes, consumer fraud, unfair competition, and false advertising under the Lanham Act. Ms. Leach also represents clients in complex adversarial proceedings with the FDA and FTC relating to the adequacy of substantiation of advertising claims and government regulations.

Ms. Leach practice also concentrates on defending businesses in class action lawsuits.  Ms. Leach has varied experience in fighting class actions across the country in state and federal courts for clients in many industries, including retail, dietary supplements, and manufacturing.  Ms. Leach’s defense of class actions has included defeating various class claims brought by plaintiffs including fraud, violations of state and federal consumer protection statutes, and breaches of contract. Jessica also works as part of the Law Office of Arthur W. Leach’s class action defense team and one of the most experienced practices focusing on dietary supplements in the United States.

Leach, with a focus on trademark litigation. Ms. Leach provides exceptional service in all aspects of trademark selection, clearance, registration, maintenance, policing, and enforcement worldwide.  Additionally, the firm provides counseling and services pertaining to domain names, false advertising, unfair competition, and rights of publicity.  Ms. Leach personalized services are tailored to the needs and objectives of each client with an emphasis on common sense, practical advice, and crafting personalized approaches and solutions.  The Law Office of Arthur W. Leach attorneys manage substantial world-wide trademark portfolios, develop strategies for and coordinate large scale trademark enforcement.

With respect to Ms. Leach’s trademark experience, Ms. Leach’s practice has focused on brand protection and enforcement through various mechanisms, including opposition, cancellation, and UDRP proceedings, the drafting of cease and desist / enforcement letters, strategic domain name registration management, filing letters of protest against adverse trademark applications, negotiating and drafting settlement agreements, with growing experience in trademark litigation.

  • Preliminary and comprehensive trademark availability clearance searching, including large volume preliminary screening searches for branding companies;
  • Preparation, filing and prosecution of domestic and international trademark, service mark, trade dress, and design applications; we work with a network of select international associates to handle application filings, oppositions, cancellations, litigation, and anti-counterfeiting activities outside of the U.S.; and Domestic and international administrative proceedings, including application opposition and registration cancellation proceedings;
